“ Awesome place. I get the tacos when in town. I think they make the tortillas in house. Great stuff ”
“ Outstanding food - fresh, tasty and authentic!! You need to try this restaurant for great food. The refried beans were smooth, the tortillas were fresh and soft and the sauces - pico de gallo / salsa verde - were magic. The staff were friendly and checked we were enjoying our meal. And don't forget to get flan and Tres leche for dessert!! ”
“ Bit of a hole in the wall kind of place, but totally delicious, authentic Mexican food. If you're looking for a legitimate taco in town, this is the place. I've been several times now, and all of the different meats and meals I tried have been delicious. The employee who takes your order is always so friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced as well, it's a great place to have a yummy, casual meal or grab take out from. ”
“ The food was delicious. The tortillas were handmade. The costumers service skills were great ! The lady in the front, Jessica, was so kind and helpful when taking my order. The busser lady was very kind and helpful with picking up our plates and trash as soon as we were done. I came in with my family of almost 30 people and they fed us all in a matter of minutes. I would definitely come back here if im ever in Idaho again! I loved it all down to the ambiance of the place to the food on my plate. ”
“ We actually had heard about another spot in town but it ended up being closed, but by then our hearts were set on Mexican food. The service was really great and everything was clean and fresh. The woman at the counter where you order was happy to help make our decisions. We had a burrito, enchiladas, and an assortment of tacos, chips and dip (beans with salsa and queso fresco) and queso dip. Beans one was great. The queso one we did not care for. Tasted canned or something commercial. Hubs verde burrito was great. Daughter really enjoyed her verde enchiladas. And I had a coupe of their different types of tacos. Homemade tortillas made it all stand out as well as the stocked mini fridge with an assortment of salsas. Green was our fave. Definitely worth stopping. ”
“ I've upgraded from my review from the last time I was here. Arrived for breakfast, which normally don't get, and ordered at the counter first their machaca (shredded beef with egg) served with rice and beans and added a cheese quesadilla. And, of course, a bottle of Mexican Coke! Service is minimal but they do bus the tables. Pleasant girl at the order desk. Spanish is spoken by the staff and, in fact, I was the only non-Latin there. It isn't a fancy place by any means. Something you would may see in a border town but clean. It is much more authentic and Americanized. But it does depend on what you get. My second trip back was better. May try again to see how consistent they really are. ”
“ Had dinner here and it was absolutely delicious. Reasonable prices and large portions. I would definitely come back here. ”
“ Found Morenita's through a Yelp search. They have a lot to offer: tacos, burritos, enchiladas, chimichangas, quesadillas, nachos, salads and a lot more. The pictures of the food looked really good and being only 10 minutes from where we were staying, we were sold. Looked up the menu online and called ahead to pickup. Ordering over the phone was easy and quick, and food was ready in about 15 minutes. When we go there our order was ready. The guy at the counter made sure everything was included and added the salsas/ sauces we requested too. The lengua street taco was my favorite thing! Authentic tortilla, deliciously tender meat. The Chuche taco was delicious too, they add cheese, sour cream and "salad" to this one, so it's a bit more filling and more flavors. The Chimichanga came with rice, beans and salad on the side. I ordered the chicken one and the meat was nicely cooked, not dry at all. The portion is BIG so I had leftovers for lunch the next day. Same with the Enchiladas, but these were a bit spicy for me. Food, service and price all worthy of recommendation, but will add an extra push for the tacos. Do not skip on those! ”
